JINGLES

WEDNESDAY 15th DECEMBER

Mark went off up town this morning but I stayed at home sorting out all my e-mails, chasing up the Undersecretary of State for the introduction to my father's book by President Komorowski and communicating with the publishers.   I also sorted out some tracks for Charly and generally chilled out.

Robert called in after work to pick us up and take us over to Carlingford.  Jane was going to a consumer sampling session in Macquarie so we were looking after Nick.  Santa had called early in Carlingford delivering Jingles to the Komorowski household.
Nick was a bit apprehensive about holding the kitten that is but eight weeks old and quite lively.  A playful tap on the arm from Jingles caused Nick to renounce ownership of the kitten and he told Jane that he was her cat and he didn't want him!  However after a certain amount of tuition from Rob and the donning of a dressing gown for arm protection, Nick gradually became reconciled with the animal.  Mark collected a couple of pizzas and some beers whilst Nick fed on a couple of fish fingers.  A game of football between Nick and Mark ended up at 20-20, and by the time Jane returned Nick was proudly declaring that he and Jingles were "blood brothers", although thankfully Jingles has not yet drawn blood!
We called in at the Epping on the way home, and finished off the evening there.
