THURSDAY 9th DECEMBER
Nothing terribly exciting to report today. Mark and I went to Eastwood at differing times but bumped into each other at the station, he returning from lunch at the Eastwood Hotel and me on my way from brunch at Bo Jo's, where I read about the continuing discontent with the Australian cricket team. Always a good read! Spurs came top of their group with a 3-3 draw in the European Cup, so all continues well on the sporting front.
Mark brought along several DVD's of Family Guy and we have been watching several episodes at a time. Robert called in to collect us after work, and we went to watch him play 6-a-side football. They lost 7-0 and had a player sent off for coming to blows with an opposition player over the last goal. Both agreed it was a goal, but the opposition player reckoned it had come back off the back staunchion (which it had), whilst Robert's colleague reckoned it had come back from the crossbar. Over such matters are world wars started!
A meal and a few drinks at the Eastwood Hotel rounded off the day's entertainment.
